This is one of the many recipes that I messed with the spiced and toppings to make it my own. And it sure was tasty, not to mention could feed a large family! We have enough left overs to eat on for a couple days!

And what better way to start it off than with one of the best chicken sandwiches around – Chick-Fil-A’s classic chicken sandwich!
So everyone once and while I will come across a recipe that I think sounds great. I take that recipe and upgrade it to version 2.0 – and this one was no different. I found a recipe that was for banana french toast (in a crock pot) and added my own splash. When I saw this recipe, it reminded me of a similar dish that I had in the French Quarter in New Orleans, so I used to this to do my best to duplicate it, and voila!
